The communications management team enlisted the help of Extra Dimension as they wanted to understand their team’s drivers.

 

Objectives

Extra Dimension was commissioned to do a Team Motivation Review with the following objectives:

  • Understand how individuals are motivated
  • Understand how to motivate staff in different ways
  • Understand how to increase the team performance
  • Develop ways to maintain team motivation

 

Results

  • It was identified that there was a need for clear communication regarding strategy, direction and quality feedback to ensure each individual knew what was expected of them
  • Management recognised the importance of celebrating small wins in a challenging environment to help motivate their teams
  • Individual action plans have been put in place to maintain the motivation and performance levels
  • Management realised that adapting their leadership styles to individual motivators brought about big differences in the team productivity
